Kitesurf & Wingfoil Cruises
Cyclades

Greece
Cyclades

The Meltemi wind brings strong, warm, and consistent winds in July and August – the perfect time for our Kite2Sail trips in the Cyclades. During this period, we cruise through Greece, taking full advantage of this wind system. Our home port alternates between Mykonos and Paros, depending on where the conditions are ideal.

From there, we sail between Syros and Ios to secluded bays accessible only by boat. Here you'll find calm water, warm Meltemi winds, no other kiters, and an unparalleled feeling of freedom.

Maximum wind, empty spots, pure freedom – your kite upgrade in the Cyclades.

Arrival

Our home port is either on Mykonos or Paros. Both islands are very small and the marina is a maximum of 15 minutes from the airport.
Direct flights to Mykonos are available from airports such as FRA, MUC, VIE, GRZ, ZRH, AMS, and CDG.
The best way to reach Paros is via Athens (ATH) or via Mykonos, then by SeaJet or ferry. It sounds complicated, but it's quite simple.
We will gladly arrange a transfer for you from the airport to the marina.

Check-in: Saturdays from 6:00 PM

Check-out: Saturdays until 9:00 AM

Kitesurfing spots in the Cyclades

Our kitesurfing spots aren't the usual beaches accessible from land. We set sail on Saturdays with our yacht and head for secluded bays that are only accessible by boat.

The route is flexible and adapts to current wind and weather conditions, taking us between the islands of Syros, Mykonos, Rineia, Delos, Naxos, Koufonisi, Paros, and Antiparos. One thing is certain: all spots are exclusively accessible by boat, the water is crystal clear, and the conditions are perfect for kitesurfing.

We especially love downwinders from spot to spot – and our catamaran always accompanies us, so you can combine maximum fun and safety.

Our yacht

Our accommodation is a Lagoon 40 or 42 catamaran. It has four cabins, each with a private bathroom, electric toilet, and shower. The cabins can be booked individually as single cabins, but each is equipped with a queen-size bed and also offers enough space for two guests. The crew sleeps in dedicated crew cabins in the bow of the yacht. A spacious and light-filled saloon, the large galley, and the deck are the communal areas.

These separate areas offer everyone on board the opportunity to find some time for themselves.

The yacht is equipped with the latest Eleveight kitesurfing gear, which can be rented from us for the duration of your holiday. Of course, you also have the option of bringing your own equipment. Plenty of storage space is available.

Additional features such as a watermaker, air conditioning, and inverter ensure a relaxing offshore stay. We will be accompanied by a 20HP tender.

Itinerary of our trip

Boarding & casting off!

After checking in on board, we'll toast with a welcome drink – and then we're off! We'll leave the harbor and anchor in a stunning bay on our first evening. The vacation starts immediately: the sound of the sea, the sunset, dinner together on deck – pure freedom!

Morning Flow & Breakfast Time
The day begins with a relaxing yoga session on deck. Afterwards, a dip in the crystal-clear water and a lavish breakfast with everything your heart desires – sweet, savory, and always fresh.

Kitesurfing, sailing, experiencing
Depending on the wind, we sail to a new kitesurfing spot in the morning. Sometimes we stay at one spot all day, sometimes we move on – it all depends on the conditions. Several sessions a day are not uncommon! In the evenings, we enjoy the sunset under sail or end the day with an aperitivo in a Greek taverna.

Unforgettable experiences
Every day is unique – with new spots, shared adventures, and a fantastic crew. Besides kitesurfing, highlights include island explorations, hikes, visits to charming harbor towns, and wakeboarding and foiling sessions right next to the catamaran.

Wind

The Meltemi is the typical northerly wind of the Aegean Sea, blowing especially during the summer months of July and August. It brings strong, consistent winds, ideal for kitesurfing, and ensures warm, dry air and crystal-clear water. Its consistent strength makes it easy to plan both flat-water and open-water sessions, making it perfect for beginners, intermediate, and advanced kitesurfers. The Meltemi also allows for downwinders between the islands, long kitesurfing sessions, and the feeling of having the Cyclades almost entirely to yourself. In short: a true dream wind for every kitesurfer.

Catering
on board

Our breakfast leaves nothing to be desired – a colorful selection of sweet and savory delicacies such as eggs, avocados, fresh bread, vegetables, cold cuts, jams, honey, muesli, and regional specialties – sometimes even with little surprises like fresh pancakes. At lunchtime, we serve light, healthy dishes such as chickpea or lentil salad, wraps, or crispy tarte flambée – perfect for active days on the water. In the evenings, we cook together: delicious pasta, creamy risotto, or a cozy barbecue on board under the stars – the perfect end to an eventful day.

Kitesurfing, Kitefoil & Wingfoil

We cater to all levels, from beginners to professionals.

At Kite2Sail you are welcome at every level – from complete beginners to experienced riders.
We offer spot guiding, technical coaching, offshore launch training and a reliable rescue service.

Optionally, you can rent kite gear on board, as well as book intermediate training or private sessions. For beginners, we offer our popular "Zero to Hero" courses – fast, safe, and lots of fun.

Side Activities

Besides kitesurfing, our Greece route offers a truly perfect island adventure. The area is ideal for sailing – plenty of wind, crystal-clear water, and fantastic spots. Enjoy delicious tavernas and charming, idyllic harbor towns to stroll and explore.

For adventure seekers, there's swimming in hidden caves, cliff jumping, snorkeling, and plenty of little discoveries along the coast. Overall, it's a beautiful area for island hopping, offering the perfect combination of action, relaxation, and authentic Greek flair.
